フライト・マニュアル P.51 に方法が書かれているのですが、どうにもうまくいきません。。
Q: How do I move a MK3 pilot to a new ship?
A: Have your new ship (all optimisations installed, but not the MK III or any Fight Software) and have it and the other MK III ship move to your position.
Make sure you have the Special Command Software installed. You can a access the move pilot option by using the Menu Ship, Orders Special or the [ Shift+c ] keys, then Special, then select ‘Move Pilot to New Ship’.
Select the sector and the MK III ship and repeat with the new ship. Then choose the sector and station where the move is to take place. After the above has been done, you just have to give the pilot the Universe Trading command again.
どういう条件ならこの Special Command が利用可能になるのか。
新しい貿易船 (Trade Command Software MK3, Fight Software MK1, MK2 はアップグレードしない) と既存の貿易船を自分の位置まで移動させれば OK とあります。自分というのは多分 *Player* つまり JB が搭乗している船のことなのでしょう。『move to one's position ≒ Transporter Device が有効な距離まで近づくこと』と推測して Command Console から Special Command を選択しましたが、そのようなメニュー項目は出現しませんでした。
もしかしたら、新しい貿易船には、上手くいかなかったことを考えて Trade Command Software MK3, Fight Software MK1, MK2 ともアップグレード済みにして Remote Command で移動させて来たのですが、これがそうさせているかもしれません。まだ、試していませんが。もちろん Sector Trading も行わせず Shipyard から無人で Remote Control で移動させてはいます。
では、マニュアルの手順以外に他にはないか。二つの手順を考えてみました。
- Transporter Device で JB 自身が移動する
- 適当な Dock にドッキングし、Change Ships を 2 回実行する
まず1つ目ですが、これは NG でした。既存の UT Ship Pilot (Level 25) に対して行った所、Pilot はいなくなってしまいました。JB が船長になり、移動元の Ship の船長名の所には JB と書かれているだけでした。Level 25 の経験が一瞬のうちにパーです。
もう1つ目は、Personal メニューから Change ships を選ぶものです。船長不在でドックさせている Ship の交換は実績がありますが、UT Ship Pilot の場合はまだ試していません。
古参の UT Ship Pilot は Mercury から Mercury Tanker へ乗り換えてもらって長いおつきあいがしたいので、ぜひこの手続きはマスターしたいものです。
